Repromed Clinics in Hamilton – ‘Fertility excellence with heart’ in the Heart of the North Island
From April 2017 onwards, Repromed – http://www.repromed.co.nz/ – will be consulting in Hamilton through the Naylin Appanna Women’s Health Centre – https://obgyn.co.nz/
For almost a decade, Repromed has been running a successful and increasingly popular fertility service in Auckland. With the current wait time for publicly funded IVF in the Waikato region approximately 20 months, Repromed can offer private treatment options as well as assessment of eligibility for public treatment and referral as appropriate. Repromed introduced the shorter simpler antagonist IVF cycles to common usage in NZ and this more user-friendly treatment type is our standard of care. But at Repromed, we offer so much more than standard IVF. We believe strongly in personalised medicine and fertility care. Consistent feedback from our patients is that, while we make quality evidence based care the foundation of our service, we respect our patients and their wishes and opinions in assisting them to decide on their care. We make this our promise to our patients.
Professor Neil Johnson will be providing Repromed consultation clinics through the dedicated Women’s Health Centre of colleague Dr Naylin Appanna. Neil is renowned for his willingness to individualise care and his endeavour to have a patient centred approach. He is vastly experienced in managing even very challenging problems for patients, having previously been Medical Director at Fertility Plus in Auckland. Neil is well known in Australasia as Immediate Past Chairperson of the RANZCOG CREI (Certificate of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility) Training Committee, having established REACT-ANZ, an Australasian multi-centre clinical research collaboration, and ACCEPT, a subspecialty consensus group that has developed Australasian consensus statements in fertility care. Endometriosis is one of Neil’s strong special interests and he will take over in May 2017 as President of the World Endometriosis Society. Lipiodol fertility treatment has been a big part of Neil’s research program and he will be able to offer this treatment, along with a vast array of fertility treatment options available through Repromed Auckland, to patients consulting with Repromed in Hamilton.
Repromed clinics will be held on the following afternoons throughout 2017 at the Naylin Appanna Women’s Health Centre, 83B Tristram Street, Hamilton 3204.
